Historic Landmarks & Parks

The Diego Sepulveda Adobe or Estancia Adobe was built in the late 1800s. This historic site in Estancia Park provides insight into Costa Mesa’s past. It is open to visitors on the first and third Saturday of each month from 12-4 pm at 1900 Adams Ave.

Tanager Park is Located at 1780 Hummingbird Drive. This 7.4-acre park features picnic areas, playgrounds, basketball and volleyball courts.

Costa Mesa Miniature Trains at Fairview Park

A unique attraction in Fairview Park, the Goathill Junction miniature trains have been a community favorite since 1988. Operated by the Orange County Model Engineers (OCME), these trains provide 40,000 rides per year and run on the third weekend of every month. Special seasonal events include:

Pumpkin Patch Run – A festive Halloween train ride where kids can pick pumpkins. North Pole Express – A holiday experience with Santa and decorated trains.
